An announcement also hailed on the official account of Activision Blizzard which soberly emphasizes the Team Xbox.

This is the second magnitude acquisition by Microsoft of a video game giant, after the acquisition last year from Animal Media (Bethesda) for $8.1 billion. With Blizzard Activision (weakened in recent months by any more business), Microsoft integrates directly into its catalog of very lucrative licenses, like Call of Duty, from World of Warcraft, Diablo, Crash Bandicoot or the game Successful mobile Candy Crush Saga. In total, Activision Blizzard has more than 10,000 employees around the world, all studios combined.
